Director of Leadership Development, Organization for Associate Degree Nursing
Mary Dickow is recognized as a national voice in leadership development for nurses and on leadership in health care. Mary has a long history working with UCSF including 15 years with the Healthforce Center at University of California, San Francisco (previously the Center for the Health Professions) where she served as the Deputy Director for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Executive Nurse Fellows program. She serves in an adjunct faculty role for the Master of Science Healthcare Administration and Interprofessional Leadership (MS-HAIL) program at UCSF.
In addition, Mary is the Director of Leadership Development at the Organization for Associate Degree Nursing where she focuses on leadership, academic progression and interprofessional education. She is responsible for the implementation of OADN’s national leadership institute and providing professional development opportunities and training for nursing education faculty, deans, and directors. Mary previously served as the Director of Statewide Initiatives at HealthImpact, California’s Nursing Workforce Center.
In 2014 Mary was inducted as an Honorary Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing. She serves as the President of the Chin Family Institute for Nursing Board and was a member of the 2010 cohort of Leadership America. Mary holds a Masters in Public Administration from the University of San Francisco and serves on their Alumni Healthcare Industry Group.
